I am happy to invite you to a live open-mic session with the title “Fasten your seatbelt! 4th Industrial Revolution meets Urban Waste Management“, on November 14, 16:00 – 17:000 GMT. You can join the webinar for free through this link. If you want to participate at the discussion and comment, you should register at the same link (see the bottom of the page).
The 4th Industrial Revolution is already here and the waste management sector can’t escape the disruption ahead. In this session, we will discuss the disruption that is already created in waste management and recycling patterns and business models by the combination of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the circular economy. We will deal with the recycling markets, the emergence of new technologies and the effects of interconnectivity to waste management and recycling, as well as with the rise of robots and driverless – on demand collection services.
The webinar is implemented under the umbrella of the Disruptive Innovation Festival (DIF) 2016.
