In my recent lecture in Malaysia, during ISWA’s Beacon Conference on Circular Economy and Resource Management, I emphasised on the emergence of robots and their potential for the waste management industry. I created a new video for that purpose and this has been already uploaded to my personal YouTube Channel, which contains 17 videos from several presentations. The video shows real examples of recycling robots and a pilot application of a robotic assistant that deals with waste collection from apartments. The video can be viewed here. Feel free to share it and comment, but above all think of the huge social consequences that robotics will bring to our lives. The potential for a Wasteless Future will be realised only with radical social innovation.
